K-pop Phenoms Bangtan Boys is a seven-member outfit creating addictive audiovisual spectacles with influences from hip-hop and dance-oriented pop music. BTS is made up of seven members: Jungkook, V, Jimin, JHope, Suga, Jin and Rap Monster, leader of the group. Bangtan Boys released several EPs and a debut album that won fans from all over the globe after their June 2013 debut with the single "No More Dream." They have already won several major awards from Korean tastemaking institutions, including the 2013 MelOn Music Awards, the 2014 and 2014 Golden Disk Awards, the 2014 and 2015 Seoul Music Awards and the 2014 and 2015 Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. The first few BTS members were recruited through Big Hit Entertainment's 2010 and 2011 "Hit It" auditions. In June 2013, the first single of BTS, "2 Cool 4 Skool," was released. The group released its first EP in September of that year. The next year's second EP, Skool Luv Affair, was released in February. The EP Skool Luv Affair, which rose to No. 3 on the Top World Albums chart in 2014, was the first big hit of BTS in the US. Dark & Wild, Vol, the same year. 1 has been released in the U.S., claiming again the No. 3 Top World Albums spot and placing it on the Top Heatseekers chart. Of course, in its native South Korea, BTS has enjoyed massive success. They have won countless awards, including the MelOn Music Awards New Artist of the Year, the Golden Disk Awards Newcomer and Album Awards, the Seoul Music Awards Rookie and Bonsang Awards, and the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards New Artist of the Year (Male Group) and World Rookie Award. This seven-member juggernaut would achieve an all-new high with starring roles in their own Mnet reality show, entitled BTS American Hustle Life, where they meet and work with legendary hip hop artists such as Warren G and Coolio during a Los Angeles visit. Also, on a track called "P.D.D. (Please Don't Die)," Rap Monster and Warren G collaborated with Warren G leading the production.
