1. How do I buy tickets?
|
|
Answer: It's easy! Just follow
these brief instructions:
- Select the desired Date of the showing or event. On
the pull down menu on the left hand side of the schedule, select
a different date, if you want tickets for a future date.
- Click on the
or
button underneath the movie showtime or event time. Once
you click on the "Buy" button a screen will
come up displaying the Movie/event, Theater or venue
Name, Date, and Time of the showing.
- Enter the Number of Tickets desired. On
the next screen, confirm the Date you have selected, then for
each ticket type enter the number of tickets that you desire.
When satisfied, click on PROCEED.
The credit card screen will now display.
- Enter information on the credit card screen:
a. Your Email Address (We email an
Order Confirmation to you that contains a Confirmation Number
you will need at the theater or venue to redeem your tickets,
so please make sure you have entered your Email Address correctly).
Please note: Your email address is kept confidential and is
not sold to other companies.
b. Your
Credit Card number
c. Your Credit Card expiration date (mmyy) example:
"0905"
d. Your Street Address (Where you receive your credit
card billing)
e. Your Zip Code (Where you receive your credit card
billing)
- Carefully check your order. Once satisfied that all
information including the date of the showing is correct, click
on the "Finalize Sale" button.
A confirmation screen will display once your order is processed.
It usually takes 5 to 10 seconds to process and receive the
confirmation screen, but it can take up to 30 seconds during
busy periods. Print out this confirmation screen and follow
the instructions at the top of the screen to redeem your tickets
at the theater or venue.
Please note that all sales are
final.
Please carefully check your order before clicking on
the "FINALIZE SALE" button.
Once you click on the "FINALIZE SALE"
button, the order cannot be stopped or canceled.
An Order Confirmation screen with a Confirmation Code will
be displayed after your order is processed. If you do not
receive a confirmation page please check your email, as
we also email a Confirmation to you as well. Once the Confirmation
Page is displayed. DO NOT click the REFRESH or RELOAD
buttons on your browser, because it could duplicate your
order.
It's that easy! Your tickets will be ready for you at the Box Office
or ticket office, a special ticket kiosk inside the theater or venue
lobby, or at the "will-call" window. Print-at-Home ticketing,
available at select theaters or venues, allows you to print your
own tickets on any computer. |
2.How do I get my tickets?
|
Back |
Answer:
Once you have completed your purchase, a confirmation page will
display. Print out this confirmation page, or your email confirmation
and take it with you when you go to the theater or venue. Read the
"IMPORTANT ADMISSION INSTRUCTIONS" on your confirmation
- if it states that your Credit Card will be required to pick up
your tickets, then make sure you have the credit card (the one used
to make your purchase) when you go to the theater or venue, or you
will not be able to pick up your tickets. Otherwise, you may use
the printed confirmation to redeem your tickets - just follow the
instructions on the confirmation.
Note: you may always pickup your tickets with your credit
card. This is especially helpful if for some reason you can
not get your confirmation screen or email to print. |

3. Do I need to pick up my tickets
at the theater or venue ahead of time?
|
Back |
|
Answer:
No. You should be able to arrive at the theater or venue as you
normally would. Most theaters or venues have special handling
for Internet Ticketing customers that will avoid any long lines
at the box office. (See next answer below)
|
4. Will
I avoid the long lines at the box office if I buy my tickets on-line?
|
Back |
Answer:
We certainly hope so! Although we (Ticketmakers.com) have no real
control over how the theaters or venues handle Internet Ticketing
customers, we encourage all of our partner theaters and venues to
provide special handling for their Internet customers, like self-serve
kiosks, or special will call windows where you can pick up your
tickets, thus avoiding any long lines. Almost all of our partner
theaters and venues do provide priority handling for Internet Ticketing
customers. |
5. How
do I purchase tickets for my friend/relative on my credit card?
|
Back |
Answer:
If the address and zip code that you entered matches your credit
card billing address and zip code, you (or your children) will not
be required to have the credit card present. However, if there is
a mismatch on either the address or zip code, AND you were notified
in the IMPORTANT ADMISSION INSTRUCTIONS section of the confirmation
that you were required to bring your credit card to redeem tickets,
then the credit card needs to be present. Any exceptions to this
policy will be at the discretion of the theater or venue manager
and will require positive picture ID. Best recommendation is to
have the credit card available if it is called for in the Admission
Instructions. |
6. What should I
do if I get a duplicate order?
|
Back |
Answer:
Please contact Ticketmakers.com, and we will research your
transaction(s). In order to look up your transaction, we will
need the first four numbers and last four numbers
of your credit card and the date of the transaction. |
7. What if I bought
tickets for the wrong movie, event, time, date or theater/venue?
|
Back |
Answer:
All sales are final. Refunds for any reason will be at the discretion
of the theater or venue involved. If you are unable to use your
tickets for reasons beyond your control, please address your request
for a refund to the theater or venue involved. It is best to contact
the theater or venue BEFORE the date and time of the showing, event,
departure, etc... They will be more likely to accommodate a change
of tickets before the date and time of the showing, event, departure,
etc.... Please understand that when you purchase tickets, you are
taking those tickets out of inventory. For sell-out films and events.
This means that those tickets could not be sold to some-one else
who might have desired those tickets. |
8. If I never used
the tickets is it possible to get a refund?
|
Back |
Answer:
All sales are final. Refunds for any reason will be at the discretion
of the theater or venue involved. If you are unable to use your
tickets for reasons beyond your control, address your request to
exchange unused tickets for new tickets to the theater or venue's
management. It is best to contact the theater or venue BEFORE the
date and time of the showing, event, departure, etc...They will
be more likely to accommodate a change of tickets before the date
and time of the showing or event. Please understand that when you
purchase tickets, you are taking those tickets out of inventory.
For sell-out films and events, this means that those tickets could
not be sold to some-one else who might have desired those tickets. |
9. How do I know if
a Movie or event is sold out?
|
Back |
Answer:
A black button below the showtime
or event time will indicate that the selected movie or event is
sold out and you will need to select another showtime or event time. |
10. Why do I have
to pay a service fee?
|
Back |
Answer:
This fee pays for the service that Ticketmakers.com, a ticketing
service agent, provides for the theaters, venues and their customers.
This service includes providing the theater and venue's showings
schedule, film information, movie reviews, schedules for other venues
and of course the ability to purchase tickets on-line, and cover
the credit card transaction fees. |
11. Did my order
go through if I never received a confirmation screen?
|
Back |
Answer:
Probably not. However, check your email for a confirmation
of your order. The email may take several minutes to reach
you after you clicked on the "Finalize Sale" button.
If you still have not received an email confirmation after
several minutes, and you are sure you entered a valid e-mail
address on the credit card screen, then your order did not
go through. It will be safe to try your order again.
|
12. What credit
cards are accepted and can I use my debit card to purchase tickets
online?
|
Back |
Answer:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are all accepted.
Debit cards (must have a Visa or MasterCard logo) can be used on
our web site just like a standard credit card. |
13.What are the
meanings of the buttons?
|
Back |
Answer:
= Tickets Available.
= Hurry, selling quickly. This means the showing or event is getting
closer to selling out. The number beside the Buy button indicates
the number of tickets remaining at the time the screen was displayed.
To get the latest number of tickets remaining, click on your browser's
"Refresh" button. Keep in mind that this is a real time
indication at the time the screen was displayed. Just because it
indicates that say 2 tickets are available, and you order 2 tickets,
does not mean that they will be available when you click on "Finalize
Sale". The remaining 2 tickets could be sold at the box office/ticket
office or through the Internet as you are filling out your credit
card information.
= Temporarily Unavailable, try back later. This usually means that
the theater or venue has lost communications with our servers and
we are unable to sell tickets. This is usually resolved within a
short time, so try refreshing the screen in a couple of minutes.
|
14.Why are some
"Buy" buttons in Red and some in Gray?
|
Back |
Answer:
Please see the above question. |
15.What should I
do if I have comments or suggestions about the service I received
at a theater or venue?
|
Back |
Answer:
We suggest that you first make your comments known to the management
at the theater or venue you visited. They have the authority to
address and resolve most issues. If you would like to provide further
comments about your theater or venue experience or the Internet
ticketing process, please send us an email. Our email address is
at the bottom of most screens in the "Contact Information"
link. |
16.My confirmation
page/print-at-home ticket is not printing properly. What is the
problem?
|
Back |
Answer:
There is nothing special about our confirmation sheet that would
prevent it from printing. It is most likely a problem with your
printer or computer setup. You may also try to print the email confirmation
that we send. If you cannot print out either the on-screen confirmation,
or the email confirmation, you may always use your credit card (the
one used when making your purchase) to redeem your tickets at the
theater or venue. |
17.How safe is
it to order tickets over the Internet?
|
Back |
Answer:
Very Safe!!
The information you provide, including your credit card information,
is transmitted to us and the credit card processor via an
SSL (Secure Socket Layer - 128-bit encrypted) connection.
We use a Verisign issued certificate to validate who we are
and the authenticity of the SSL connection. Verisign is regarded
as the world leader in SSL technology. It is much safer than
say giving your credit card information over the phone to
a mail order company.
Please
click on the image to your left to read about Verisign Secure Site.
|
18. Can I make
changes to my ticket purchase during the order process?
|
Back |
Answer:
Yes you can, as long as you have not clicked on the "Finalize
Sale" button! All you need to do is click on the "Back"
button on your browser and reenter your information. We
urge you to confirm the date, show time, film title, and
location of the movie before finalizing your sale.
Our Ticketmakers.com policy does not allow us to refund tickets
purchased on our web site When you are placing your order on line,
Ticketmakers.com removes your ticket quantity from the theater or
venue's inventory, which reduces the number of seats available for
your movie showtime. This process allows us to guarantee seating
for our customers, it also prevents any reselling of tickets in
the chance that the customer can not attend their movie showtime.
Ticketmakers.com service fees will not be refunded.
